This deep red coloured set has outstanding fine Birds-eye features that are solid and stable!
Tasmanian Blackwood is an exception Tonewood. The species has great density (Janka 1270) and is often considered by Luthiers to have better tap tone than Hawaiian Koa. Tasmanian Blackwood shares similar physical and tonal properties to Rosewood and is used as an alternative.
